Information

These video template packs were designed to give you complete access to the video and audio files used to create all of the reels/shorts so that you can create and edit your own as quickly and easily as possible since each video template will detail exact project settings and video timings to make it so you can easily cut/paste/drag/drop your own content and end up with perfect syncing/timing.

F.A.Q.

  • What is this template pack?
    • This is a collection of each specific video reel/short made through Aeon's social media accounts. It includes the exact DaVinci Resolve project export as well as the individual media files used so you can drop them into your own preferred video editor/app if not using DaVinci Resolve.
    • This is marketed towards the DIY creators, and is attractively priced as such, as it only contains the media files used. For step-by-step guides on using these templates, or for editing video reels/shorts in general, check out the video reels/shorts editing guide.
  • What video editing software are the templates compatible with?
    • The content was edited natively in Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 18 - Free version, and should import completely back into DaVinci Resolve 18 seamlessly with little to no changes at all in settings or files. If using other software, you can simply use the provided media files and recommended settings to match up the clips up. If you have a computer and do your editing on a computer, I would recommend DaVinci Resolve's free version for using these templates, as it will be the easiest to use and follow along with any settings guides.
    • Occasionally, some content may be edited or re-processed in IG app during upload, or through other mobile apps, but these will be pointed out, and alternative methods for editing documented if needed.
  • What format are the files recorded in?
    • The audio only files will typically be in mp3 format, or other common formats, already trimmed to the exact length and parts used.
    • The Video files will typically be recorded in h.264/h.265 codec with an mp4 format file extension at 1080x1920 resolution, or cropped in editing software to fully fit a 1080x1920 aspect ratio (vertical video).
    • The image files (if any) will typically be cropped (completely, and/or in software) to fit a 1080x1920 resolution aspect ratio to fit the video, or be used as cover images.
    • Text fonts used (if any) are either provided, or already readily available in editing or social media apps.
  • How do I use these "templates"?
    • The templates are posted as DaVinci Resolve 18 project exports. Easiest would be to just re-import them back into DaVinci Resolve, where everything should then be drag n drop simplicity (besides export settings, detailed in this course).
    • If not using DaVinci Resolve, the raw media files are still provided, so you can drop them into your own preferred editor and use the recommended settings to sync/match up the timing(s) as best as possible.
    • If you have opted for the template guide as well, the guide will detail exact settings and step-by-step process for using the files/templates. In addition, there will frequently be extra suggestions, tips, ideas for creating other unique remixes of the videos.
  • Is there a step by step guide for using these templates?
    • Yes, although not included with this template pack, there is an optional added course for step-by-step video reel/shorts editing. The course will show all relevant project settings (at least in DaVinci Resolve), and the process behind editing reels so you can start making your own.
    • In addition, each specific reel in this template pack will have it's own follow along guide in the video editing guide course so you can make your own remix as quickly and easy as possible!
