I'm Aeon, and I have put in over 800 hours learning and experimenting with what works and doesn't work with mixing music. As I originally taught myself (through watching other DJs mix, watching tutorial videos, searching forums, etc.), I found that it was actually really difficult and/or time consuming to find all the specific and relevant information I needed to learn certain techniques. Combine this with a decent amount of interest from others in learning from me, I figured it would be more efficient to consolidate all my knowledge on the subject into nice convenient and easy to follow training packages.

Realizing I also have knowledge on a variety of other subjects people would be interested in learning, I figured it would be more efficient to just incorporate all of this into 1 place. As a result, I have invested many months putting all of my knowledge together into individually packaged courses on this site for your enjoyment!

Dream big, achieve bigger, and may all your dreams become reality!

What To Expect

In the following training, you will learn the basics of using DJ software Virtual DJ to create simple and basic music mixes. Most of the lessons will be presented as full video tutorials, which may be accompanied with text and/or documents. By the end of this course, you should have full confidence to be able to use and navigate DJ software, and create basic, continuous music mixes.

This course is currently under construction, and being constantly updated (as of June, 2022). It is a shell duplicate of the original Intro/Starter DJ course (which primarily demonstrated using Traktor Pro software). New content is being edited to specialize specifically with Virtual DJ.

*Keep in mind that while this training aims to make the process as replicate-able as possible, mixing music is an art that relies on the creative freedom of the individual creating to mix to be successful.

*I recommend ensuring you have promotional and marketing emails enabled, as this is how I will be sending out emails notifying of changes, updates, or new additions to trainings. I will not be sending unrelated or spammy emails, and you are free to subscribe or unsubscribe from the mailing lists at anytime! Promotional and marketing emails may come from the university address, and/or from my personal email provider. You are also free to join my public discord community chat server to hang out with other people in my community, and also where I will be posting updates to courses, and other happenings.
